The Target Experience- Part 1!

Happy Wednesday!

I wanted to share with you all my recent experience with Target Canada. I absolutely love Target, and am so excited that it has come to Canada, and especially that it made its way to little old Ottawa. If you don't live here, you may not realize, but we are light years behind the rest of the world in terms of stores. The icing on the cake is that billings bridge is really close by and easy for me to get too. This could be dangerous for my budget..Oh wait, I don't budget. Great,  lets go shopping! ;)

I was beyond thrilled to receive an the invite for a special bloggers event - a pre-opening tour of the Target store given by  Media Spokesperson, Lisa Gibson (Part 1) and a Bloggers' breakfast and shopping spree (with a $50 gift card!), once the doors of Target opened at 8 am on Tuesday morning (Part 2).

All opinions are my own.

On Monday, I arrived at Billings Bridge and was greeted by the lovely Lisa Bloskie, Billings Bridge Marketing director, organizer and host. The room was filled with a few dozen of Ottawa's bloggers- mostly in fashion, with some lifestyle, design, and parenting as well. This was probably the best dressed group of people I have seen. I am pretty sure I was the only food blogger.  I was really impressed, and quite jealous of those who blog and do social media as their careers.

Now, as a food blogger I was interested in checking out the grocery section, the kitchen gadgets, table linens and decor..  and they did not disappoint! As a normal 20 something year old, I was also interested in scoping out the Phillip Lim Handbags, workout gear, and cosmetics.

Here are some photos from the tour:

The tour started with complimentary Starbucks- you had me at PSL
